Building Bridges for Inclusion

Good Vibes x SHE Boutique Partner to Take Trans Healthcare National!

Since 1977, Good Vibes has been more than just a mission-driven sexual wellness retailer—we’ve been a community advocate, a champion of sex positivity, and a dedicated supporter of marginalized voices.

As the current political climate puts these communities further at risk, we remain steadfast in our mission to fight back against harmful rhetoric and empower members of the LGBTQ+ community.

We believe that empowerment starts with access, dignity, and community support. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership with SHE Boutique and Trans: Thrive—two organizations making a tangible difference in the lives of trans women of color and the trans & GNC communities of San Francisco.

The nationally recognized SHE Boutique is a fashion-forward incentive program created by Trans: Thrive to reward trans women of color living with HIV for staying engaged with healthcare services. It provides new and gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, and beauty products—and has been proven to increase healthcare retention among trans women of color living with HIV.

SHE Boutique has been praised by the CDC as a “Best Practices” program and in 2024 they received a grant from biopharmaceutical company Gilead to expand the program nationally in an initiative aimed at supporting HIV prevention, anti-stigma efforts, and health equity for Black women and girls.

This year, Good Vibes is proud to partner with Trans: Thrive to raise additional funds for expansion and to support their broader mission of creating a healthcare landscape where Black transgender individuals can access services that are both affirming of their identities and tailored to their unique needs.

Good Vibes believes in building a community rooted in acceptance and self-expression. Partnering with SHE Boutique allows us to take direct action in supporting the trans community, specifically for trans women of color who face systemic barriers to care.

For the entire month of March, Good Vibes will:

  • Donate 100% of profits from our Trans: Thrive bundle.
  • Match up to 30% of any further donations which are collected in Good Vibes retail locations and online.

We’re proud to contribute to a program that changes lives through dignity, wellness, and empowerment, and this partnership represents the next milestone in our ever-evolving goal to remain a pillar of support for these incredible organizations and the trans community in San Francisco and beyond.

Trans: Thrive stands for Transgender Resource and Neighborhood Space (Trans), and Transgender Health & Resource Initiative for Vital Empowerment (Thrive).

Trans: Thrive is the incarnation of the transgender drop-in started by UCSF and transferred to SF Community Health Center.  Trans: Thrive is more than a drop in center, it’s services for US, by US.

We aim to create safe spaces, events and services for the entire trans/GNC community. From case management and medical services (including Primary Care, HRT and Needle Exchange), to mental health and substance use support, to social groups and special events, to a drop in center.
