New Line of Erotic Films Receives Highest Honors from Sex-Positive Porn Awards

Nominated for the 2010 AVN “Best New Video Production Company” Award, Good Vibrations’ sister company Good Releasing offers various lines of edgy, alternative, and educational films that provide an exciting option for people who may be uninspired by mainstream porn.  The winners were: Most Deliciously Diverse Cast for “Dangerous Curves” by Carlos Batts (HeartCore Films); Best Bi Movie for “Fluid: Men Redefining Sexuality” by Madison Young (Reel Queer Productions); and Most Tantalizing Trans Film for “Speakeasy” by Courtney Trouble (Reel Queer Productions).

In addition to titles, Good Releasing’s featured performers were also awarded.  April Flores was crowned the “Heartthrob of the Year” for her unique charm and unbridled sex appeal, and Jiz Lee was designated “The Boundary Breaker” for continually pushing the limits of gender and sexuality in porn with power and style.

Good Releasing also co-presented The Emerging Filmmaker Award to Tobi Hill-Meyer for her work on Doing It Ourselves: The Trans Women Porn Project (Handbasket Productions) awarding a monetary scholarship for breaking boundaries, creating sexy feminist porn and being committed to the representation of women and alternative sexualities in erotic media.
