To start with, it's not a spot! It's glandular tissue inside the body, behind the clitoris and below the bladder. It's sometimes called the "paraurethral sponge" and some researchers have named it the "prostata femina" (just a little confusing since not every person with a G-spot would identify as "femina"). But it IS much like the prostate, deriving from the same tissue and functioning in a similar way, especially sexually. Both organs respond to many of the same sensations: pressure, stroking, in some cases vibration.

If you want to learn if you do find G-spot sensation sexually pleasurable, here are some basics: You can find it via the front wall of the vagina, around a couple of inches in. Don't start hunting for it until you are aroused; use plenty of lube. The G-spot usually requires a fair amount of pressure to begin to engorge and yield yummy sensations, and without lube and turn-on this might not even feel good. Curved fingers (in a beckoning, "come here" motion) or a curved toy are classic ways to reach the area and stimulate it. Some intercourse positions may work for some people, but this is less common (many penises aren't curved enough, and slide right on by). Some will enjoy G-spot vibration and others will really only respond to the pressure and stroking we've described. So explore!

Sexual anatomy, especially in those assigned female at birth, isn't well-studied. To this day not all med students even hear about the G-spot. Plenty of people have not experienced its sensations and so they think it must not exist, and some (TBH, lots) of the information about it has been more "pop sci" than hard science. None of that, though, negates the experience of those who have experienced G-spot pleasure!

Not always, but it's certainly possible to orgasm with G-spot stimulation. Between the G-spot, the inner body of the clitoris, and the vagina itself, there are a lot of sources of possibly-orgasmic pleasure within a very small area of the body! Note, though, that in all these cases, a person would need to be sufficiently aroused, and stimulated appropriately. Not all sex meets this standard, as we know. The prostata femina can become engorged and filled with fluid which chemically resembles (but is not exactly like) prostate fluid. With the right kind of stimulation and/or orgasm, the fluid can release (in a trickle or a gush). This is called "female ejaculation" – or honestly just ejaculation works too! Not everyone who experiences G-spot pleasure experiences this.
